Sherex Flex-5 Power Tool The Sherex Flex-5P and Flex-5S are pneumatic/hydraulic installation tools. The Flex-5P tool installs rivet nut fasteners by spin-pull to pressure technology. A single stage trigger controls the complete installation sequence and an automatic timed reverse spin and stop feature insures maximum installation speed. The Flex-5S tool uses spin-pull to stoke technology. The Flex-5S tool installs the rivet nuts by pull to stroke distance control. Once the stroke is set, the tool installs the fastener into a specific material thickness. The tools weigh 4.2 pounds, has a maximum stroke of 0.280 inches and a pull force of 5,000 pounds at 90 PSI air pressure The thread size capabilities of the Flex-5 installation tools are as follows:
