The Thin Wall Rivet Nut is designed to be a lower cost alternative to the Standard Rivet Nut for applications with reduced load requirements. It can be installed with both the spin-spin and spin-pull type tools. The ribbed vertical grooves on the top of the shank increase torque resistance. A smooth shank version is also available. Thin Wall Rivet Nuts are offered with a standard head, a low profile or minimized head or a half hex body. The minimized head version has a head height that provides a nearly flush mount. The half hex body version is designed for applications where higher resistance to spinout is required. They are available in aluminum, steel or stainless steel. Unified thread sizes of 6-32, 8-32, 10-32, 10-24,1/4-20, 1/4-28, 5/16-18, 5/16-24, 3/8-16, 3/8-24 and,1/2-13 are offered. Metric thread sizes of M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12 are also available.
