Sherex Rivet Nut Power Tools

Sherex offers a variety of pneumatic installation tools. The Rivet Nut Power Tools come in two basic types: Spin-to-Pressure (Spin-Spin) and Spin-to-Stroke (Spin-Pull). The Spin-to-Pressure tools thread the tool mandrel into the Rivet Nut by spinning it to a preset pressure that upsets the Rivet Nut. It then applies a reverse spin to disengage from the Rivet Nut. Available Spin-to-Pressure tools include the Flex-5P, SS-800 Pistol Style, the SS-900 Inline Style, and the SS-910 Right Angle Style. The Spin-to-Stroke tools thread the tool mandrel to engage the Rivet Nut and then pull back to a preset distance to upset the Rivet Nut. It then applies a reverse spin to disengage from the Rivet Nut. The Flex-5S and the MS-100 are Spin-to Stroke tools. The Flex-18 is the most powerful tool on the market and offers Spin-to-Pressure and Spin-to-Stroke capabilities.
